Lightning Beat Islanders, Point Streak Now At 9 Games

The Tampa Bay Lightning (41-25-7) defeated the New York Islanders (31-27-15) 4-1 on Saturday night at Amalie Arena. The win extended Tampa Bay's point streak to nine games.

Anthony Cirelli had three points - two goals and an assist - to lead the way. Steven Stamkos and Darren Raddysh also had goals, while Nikita Kucherov and Brandon Hagel both had two assists. Andrei Vasilevskiy went 27-of-28 in net to earn the win.

The Lightning will look to continue their hot streak when they host the Detroit Red Wings on Monday night. Puck drop between Tampa Bay and Detroit is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Monday night at Amalie Arena.
