Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey was unaware of a report that NFL Network reporter and former NFL player Heath Evans made, but when asked about it he called it comical. Evans claims the Jags locker room is in disarray because of management's unwillingness to negotiate with star running back Maurice Jones-Drew and that Mularkey is “distancing himself from his players”.
Players asked about the report sided with Mularkey's stance.
“That’s kind of hilarious, that’s just the opposite of what’s been happening,” said offensive lineman Eben Britton. “It really feels like a professional football organization from top to bottom. I’ve never been a part of a team that’s so acutely attentive to details.”
“Honestly, I really believe it’s a hungry team. Everybody’s all in with what Coach Mularkey is doing,” guard Uche Nwaneri added. “There’s not one person in this locker room who feels like we don’t have a chance to win every Sunday if we do everything that’s asked of us."
It seems like Evans was just looking for a story to talk about and just made this one up to create a possible headline. If so that's a pretty low move considering he's a former player.

There is some concerning news about Cleveland Browns rookie starting running back Trent Richardson, who had been impressive in training camp until recently when he injured his knew and missed practice Tuesday. The initial reports were that it was a minor issue and to not think much of it, but the team has flown Richardson to Pensacola, FL so the famous sports doc, Dr. James Andrews, can take a closer look.
This is concerning for the Browns who haven't had the best of luck with having healthy draft picks. I would definitely keep a close eye on this situation if I am a Browns fan or play fantasy football!
Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews made some recent claims about the New York Giants victory over the Packers in the divisional round of the playoffs last season. He could have taken the honorable route and just said the Giants had a better day than they had, but instead went on a rant how the Cheese Heads just beat themselves. Many people might agree with Matthews' view on the game, but one Giants star came out with their view.
He believes it's just sour grapes and Matthews needs to shut up. "Did they play their best ball?" Tuck continued. "I don't know. But we won the football game. I don't think they gave us anything."
Tuck is right here. Clay Matthews is a typical USC Trojan; over cocky and thinks he's better than everyone else. It reminds me of when
You played AT the Frozen Tundra... You have one of the best quarterbacks in the game... You were the defending Super Bowl champs... Man up and play better when it counts! You
It isn't Clay Matthews's right to discredit what the Giants accomplished.
