
With the defense firing on all cylinders during Monday’s game, the Florida Gators pulled out the victory in stunning fashion. Yes, the defensive side is young, but with everything learned this season they are touted to become the most feared defense in the SEC. While holding the Buckeyes to only 299 yards, the Gators were able to capitalize on turnovers and special team errors.
Although Ohio State gained more yards than the Gators, it was the playmakers that solidified the game. Andre Debose' 99 yard kickoff return (Gator Bowl Record) and Chris Rainey’s' blocked punt quickly put the Gators up by 14 points.
