Its Official, Charlie Weis is out and Brent Pease will take over the reigns as the new Offensive Coordinator for the Florida Gators. Pease has spent the past six years with Boise State and have helped lead them to collegiate football most winning team the past six years in a row. If you know anything about the Broncos you know that they are a pass happy, high scoring team much reminiscent of the 90's era Gators under Steven Spurrier.

A former NFL quarterback him self, Pease’s' vast knowledge of the offensive system and under the role of quarterback coach has averaged 481.3 yards per game with an average of 44.2 points per game. During his tenure as offensive coordinator with the Broncos the team went 73-6.

"I've had him under the radar for a while," states Muschamp. "I think we have improved our football program. We're on the same page philosophically with what we want to be, and that to me is what strikes you the most. He's not a stat guy. He is a guy who wants to win football games."

“They have obviously been able to win national championships and play with a high caliber of talent and still be a team that is very prolific in both the pass and the run,’’ he said. “It’s always been kind of electric. It’s a national brand and I’m excited about that.” -Brent Pease
