SEC commisioner Mike Slive, who is about to turn 72, says he has unfinished business with the SEC and will be with the conference for at least a couple more years.  His contract was set to expire in a couple weeks and many believed he would retire, but he put those rumors to rest at the SEC Media Days this week in Birmingham, AL.

He's working on new TV contracts for the SEC and says those meetings are "scheduled throughout this summer." Slive also expects conference commissioners to gather in September to begin finetuning the new four-team playoff system, including revenue distribution and selection committee criteria.
