The Jacksonville Jaguars and kicker Josh Scobee let their contract negotiations come down to the wire, but they eventually agreed to a 4 year, $13.8 million contract extension!

Scobee wanted to stay in Jacksonville all along and the Jaguars wanted him here, but the Jags GM Gene Smith finally gave in and did what they had to do.  I understand their view of MJD, but this is different.  Scobee has been the team's most reliable weapon over the last several season, and being a kicker he couldn't ask for much when looking at the overall scheme of a football roster.

Just happy our MVP is locked up to score field goals and do kick offs for the Jags the next few seasons! Way to go Gene Smith and Josh's agent!
