Is it a GOOD thing that Del Rio got fired??

Tell us your thoughts!

Jacksonville, FL (Sports Network) - The Jacksonville Jaguars have reportedly fired head coach Jack Del Rio, who was in his ninth season at the helm.

According to WJXT-TV in Jacksonville, the team plans to make it official at a Tuesday news conference.

The Jaguars are 3-8 this season and guaranteed a non-winning mark for the fourth straight year.

Del Rio has guided the club to a record of 68-71 since becoming the second head coach in franchise history after Tom Coughlin was fired following the 2002 campaign.

The Jaguars have had just three winning seasons during Del Rio's tenure and reached the playoffs as a wild card in 2005 and 2007, posting a 1-2 mark in the postseason.
