The NFL Player's Association has decided to take legal action against the NFL in their handling of the New Orleans Saints bounty scandal. The player's association has called NFL commissioner Roger Goodell ''incurably and evidently biased'' in the way he has handled the suspensions of players.
The NFL responded by saying the action is an ''improper attempt to litigate'' and that there is ''no basis for asking a federal court to put its judgment in place of the procedures agreed upon with the NFLPA in collective bargaining.''
''These procedures have been in place, and have served the game and players well, for many decades,'' NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said in an email to The Associated Press.

The Houston Rockets have made a lucrative offer to sign last year's out-of-nowhere sensation Jeremy Lin. Houston, who had Lin in training camp last season but cut him, didn't realize what they had at the time and now are trying to lure him back. The problem is that because he's a restricted free agent the New York Knicks have a chance to match their offer because they are his incumbent team.
The Rockets seem ok about letting Lin go initially, because he probably wouldn't have been discovered had they kept him.
"Even if he stayed here, we probably wouldn't have recognized his talent as much as we should’ve," Rockets general manager Daryl Morey said. "He probably wouldn’t have played much at all, and then would’ve been released at the end of the year. I didn’t know he could play this well, and if I did, we would’ve kept him."

#1 Pick in the NBA Draft Anthony Davis injured his ankle Saturday, and it appears serious enough to force him to miss playing on Team USA at the Olympics this summer.
The 19 year old was invited practice and work out for Team USA coach Mike Krzyzewski before July training camp in Las Vegas, but the injury has likely left the his NBA team New Orleans Hornets not wanting to risk the young star's participation.
Thanks to other injuries, Davis had a legit shot at making the squad because of his size and ability to block shots. The other injuries to Team USA include Dwight Howard, Chris Bosh, Derrick Rose, and Dwayne Wade.
